My experience at BlueCrest School of Fashion & Design was amazing for me.
The Best moments; the College semi-funded a trip to Dubai to witness the International Dubai Fashion Week and was granted a 70% tuition scholarship in my final year.
I chose the BlueCrest School of Fashion & Design (SFD) after I found it listed as one of Ghana’s highly recommended Fashion Design schools.
Sincerely, growing up I really liked cutting papers, my mother was a nurse practitioner and my siblings and I took turns playing nurse roles. I loved cutting and pinning paper caps on my head to suit the role better.. I knew Pattern drafting and making was my call, with no other place to be than BlueCrest School of Fashion & Design. It fueled my passion to become a fashion Designer.
Four years of hard work at BlueCrest SFD paid off! — I got a First Class Bachelor of Science Honors in Fashion. The Professional and experienced faculties passed on not only theoretical elements but in-depth knowledge of the Fashion industry.
I drew inspiration from their constant motivation. All tasks and assignments were created in a way that you learned and practiced to get better and better within time restraints. Special thanks to my great tutors, they have been very instrumental in my success.
The classes are structured to address individual student needs. The courses are focused on getting students ready for the job market. My Instructors were always available to answer questions, at any time. They kept me focused and rooted in my studies.
A considerable number of students were paired in each class, which created a high chance of getting more one-on-one attentiveness from the lecturer.
BlueCrest College career office helped out with Internship and placement opportunities for students every long vac. Everything I learned in school is applicable in real life and I am very much grateful. Best Decision Ever!!!
After completing my course in Fashion Design, I look forward to launching my own career. Watch Out !!!!
