Smiles are not enough to welcome new ones, and words alone can not express our heartfelt delight in commencing a new academic year with new, intelligent and brilliant comrades. We call you comrades because we marked your welcome with series of activities to make you feel the essence of belonging to a united student body led by the Students’ Representative Council of Bluecrest College.
In an unprecedented environment of Multi-nationals, Bluecrest College’s ‘Akwaaba’ week celebration commenced with
Day 1; an orientation by the executives of the SRC, followed by games of fastest fingers for free airtime, familiarizing with key personalities in the schools administration and taking of photographs with them to add to our already blossoming gallery of pictures.
Day 2; was spectacular as students graced the school’s auditorium with costumes of African print, amidst photos, good music, electronic and board games brought cheers into the ambiance of the auditorium. Interestingly, the SRC president and executives also took part in activities to the delight of the student population. The climax was a movie night on the giant screen, which students enjoyed free popcorn and drinks the whole night through.
“Akwaaba”, and in Bluecrest we say “education for Life” — SRC; Bluecrest College
