BCC staff brainstorm for innovative ideas at Strategic Retreat
Staff members of BlueCrest College, Ghana (BCC) and School of Fashion and Design (SFD) took a step back from regular work schedule to sharpen their approach towards organisational goals in a Strategic Retreat held at the scenic Bojo Beach Resort near Accra recently.
BCC Rector Dr Anand Agrawal organised this event.
The day-long Retreat focussed on Team Building and Strategic Planning. Both academic and non-academic staff members formed themselves into different groups based on their departments and participated in various tasks and competitions along with their group members.
This Retreat was also an occasion to felicitate long-serving employees of BCC and announce internal promotions. Ms Edna Asante rose from Assistant Registrar to Registrar of BCC. Her predecessor, Mr Sujith Jayaprakash, took over the newly-formed office of Director of Outreach and Partnerships.
Both Ms Asante and Mr Jayaprakash have been employees of BlueCrest College since its inception in 2010.
Activities took place amid coffee breaks, group lunch and musical events.
